Beta test Cricket Evdo

In Nashville it was showing ev but in lebanon it was showing 1x sometimes.. I called the cricket Internet phone nuraber and talked to them and they said they we talking to verizon about EvDo roaming Yay!!

Dude you have been scammed. Cricket diesnt mail phonbes to nyone for testing, last of all non customers. There is an internal testing program and that is where it's done. I'd be willing to bet you wont be getting anything in the mail.

When will these be available? What are the available markets for using a Cricket card? This could be an excellent solution for wireless access while on the road with a laptop if EvDO coverage is pretty good with Cricket.

I was supposed to get the card today, but i had to go get a Id card from the Dmv and that took 3 hours by itself. I am definitely going tomorrow.

When I worked for Cingular, there was a west coast hanRABet device team division. Basically they send you a phone, and let you test it for 2-3 weeks and then fill out a survey.

Cricket probably does the same thing. It generally is such a small group in the company, and they use 5-10 people to test devices and then interface directly with the manufacturer for bugs and whatnot.

If they do sign roaming agreements or expand coverage I will definitely keep this service because they said it would be $40 a month

is kwpst legal (as in linkable)?

i have a verizon kpc650 fully flashed to cricket and working its awsome. if u dont believe me ask jammis.... hes my neighbor (a.k.a co-worker)

You'll need to add the com port in KWPST. If you look in device manager you'll see something the effect of "Kyocera Control Port (COM13)". Make a note of what com port the card is on, and then open "Kyocera Wireless PST Setup"

You'll see a tab for "Ports", select that tab.
In the lower right there will be a button for "Add new Port", click it.
In port enter "com13" or whatever your com port is, and in label, enter "com13" as well.
Press ok, your aircard will show up in the ports screen, and now be found when you open up Service Programming.

Good luck!
