I did mine too! I just had to pry out the reflector and trim the rubber slightly and it fit right where the reflector was. Just drilled a big center hole for the wires and 2 small ones for the mounting screws. I just left it on steady burn for now. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

You have a point!
I was also thinking that the flashing may confuse some cagers, and they wouldn't notice the turn signal. It still brightens it up alot when you hit the brake.

Here is the pics.

I did and did. The bike is just so dang fun to ride. Here's a comparison-to-stock pic. Look close and you'll see a lot of little tweaks and mods. BTW, those are combo bar end turn signals + mirrors.

Buster, I built them. There's only about $35 in parts, including the turn signals, but quite a few hours of work to get it all set up. Now, if I somehow damage one, I can replace it for about $14 (bracket, signal and mirror) plus about 2 hours of work. I ran 4" long steel plugs in each bar end. The plugs have a channel for the wires and I drilled and tapped screw threads in the ends for mounting the brackets.

These 2 pics were taken before the raised headlight mod and added the tool bag.

The mirrors are slightly convex so they give a bigger picture than just flat glass. They work better for me than the stock or aftermarket stemmed mirrors since none of the view is wasted on my shoulder and arms.

Here's the posts on the custom combo bar-end turn signals/mirrors over on SuzukiSavage.com:

Here's the evolution of the project. It shows pics of fabbing the steel plugs, running wires, etc.

Jim, thanks for that, now if I could just find the time to get involved in something like that I would be a happy bunny!

PS Brilliant job. :bluethum:
