Best Ever Animated Movie?

well for me it would be hard to pick just one

if i had to choose my favourites they would be

1. Beauty & The Beast
2. Wall-E
3. Finding Nemo
4. The Iron Giant
5. Final Fantasy
 
Shrek.

It may not have the best animation, but it is the best animated movie. Cos it's one of my fave movies anyway, and it just happens to be animated.
 
Tough one. Could never pick just one:

Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, WALL-E, Toy Story, Snow White - for stunning animation and superb plots.
 
Lion King is the best for story and art and music.

It's just a stunning movie. :D

Toy Story is great as well as it was the start of a new era, and is also a quality movie for story and comedy.
 
Really? Most critics I have seen haven't been harping on about it, a lot of reviews that I read got low ratings and average reviews...

I do love this bit of the review though that you linked:

I've yet to see it but that sounRAB fantastic. :)


I love most of the animation to come out of Studio Ghibli, most of the latest Pixar films except Cars. Oh and Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favourites.
 
No clear favourite overall...but 'Final Fantasy' is the most technically impressive for me.

It's just shame they forgot that it's all a bit pointless unless there's a story worth telling.
 
I'd say Beauty and the Beast for the storyline, The Lion King for artwork and songs and Toy Story for pure innovation. So I guess the best film is Beauty and the Lion King Story :D
 
Has always been the best, as you said without question anyone with a keen eye for detail or colour can pick this foor a winnner hanRAB down, brilliant artwork, shadow, water scenes, the lot.fantastic...
 
Watched Sleeping Beauty with my granRABon the other night, and the arwork and movement is pathetic compared to Pinocchio. please have a viewing if youve not seen it for a while and take in this artwork, amazing.
