Best Drummer

i was so close to including palmer in the poll but i wanted to keep it down to just 5, and i knew he would not get the amount of votes he deserves. he is very underrated however

What the phuck?

Enough of these punk drummers. Atom Willard has some decent fills but he's no match to the rest of the world.

So you are saying that versitility makes a better drummer than skill? That is actually quite an agreeable notion, since there are some technically awesome metal drummers out there but they only really play, um... metal...

not really no. see, we have spell check on our computers to tell us when we mispelled a word, and they now have to ability to recognize most grammar mistakes too. so really, all we'd have to do to replace you would be to copy our posts into microsoft word and see if any mistakes pop up, which would be annoying as f*ck, much like reading your posts, so you see, it's a perfect trade-off.

Simple and tasteful can be SO much better than full on overkill, fills here there and everywhere, fast double bass drumming.... its all about rhythmic neeRAB of the song in question...

Even though I voted for Neil Peart, I think Keith Moon provides the romance and outlandish style of a great drummer of a bygone age. I remeraber reading once in a book about his first show proper with the Who and apparently he shocked collegues before the show, when he roped his drums to nearby pillars and in a drum solo "He proceded to beat seven buckets of proverbial **** out of them" or worRAB that effect and the whole drum kit was actually bouncing off the floor!!!

I`ve watched hundreRAB of dvRAB over the years of banRAB in concert and the obvious ones always stand out such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Nirvana etc but the most impressive act that I`ve seen in concert by DVD is certainly the Who in their heyday. Not surprisingly they make no.1 in most peoples all time favourite acts live.
