E edff1 New member Nov 30, 2010 #84 Out of those listed I would go for Ginger Baker. Cream, Fela Kuti and Hawkwind to name just a few artists he has worked with. Outside of that list: Dave Lorabardo-Not just for his speed but his sheer athleticism on a kit and his work belied a very technical drummer. Gavin Harrison- He uses all the kit and in unexpected ways too. One of the few drummers that I could probably listen to a solo by. Bill Ward-Sometimes the simplest rhythms are the best and his sound was as heavy as Bonhams.
