Most of the earlier stuff contains no evil growl vocals.

I didn't. =D

I sort of knew this would just poke the beehive, so to speak.

My point is, if you came into any forum of music I listen to I'd be able to listen to something and say "yeah you might try this."

Wow Big3, still have your rab erection and posting regularly

Mad Props

In case you need a gentle handjob of your ego; I always liked you and kind of knew that you'd never run out of intelligent things to say

Nobody better than Jim Morrison but of course he`s not metal:laughing: Try Danzig he has a baritone voice and sings metal infused with a blues influence. If you want soaring distintive vocals and metal try Nevermore and start with either "Politics of Ecstasy" or "Dreaming Neon black" two classic metal albums.

I was actually going to suggest possibly Deftones. Not because they sound anything like the song in that video, they don't, but it's fairly accessible and there vocals aren't cookie monster-like.

Have you heard Savior Machine? It might be Industrial Christian Metal, but its all old testament so how you tell the difference I have no friggen idea. But that guy sings like a god damn beast. Let me see if I can find something.
