I recently got the Red Curtain Trilogy and finally watched Strictly Ballroom last night. Oh My Gosh! What a cute movie! I am soo in love with Baz.

He is such a romantic. The guy in Strictly Ballroom was soo hot and a terrific dancer.

I still have to watch the extra feature disc. I really want to see the House of Iona. I've seen screen caps and it looks beautiful!

I can't wait until Baz brings La Boheme to California. It's on Broadway. When I was watching the Survivor finale they showed the outside of the Ed Sullivan theatre where they were having the reunion show...and you could see the sign for La Boheme in the background. I hope it plays on Broadway for a while, because I want to go back to NYC.

NO Baz didn't allow.
I've never talked to Baz. I've never even seen him in real life.

I just brung him up on a topic in an interview.

Wow In Fair Verona, you SB wallpaper is gorgeous, one problem though I keep getting an error message when I try to open it up. Maybe it's me...
I wish I could make cool wallpapers, I've been trying to teach myself, but not much luck so far!

Hi everyone.

I'm a huge Baz Luhrmann fan. I highly recommend the Red Curtain Trilogy. I was going to just buy Moulin Rouge!, but then I saw the Red Curtain Trilogy and had to buy it. It was WELL worth it. The fourth disc features a lot of great extras. It takes you into Baz's House of Iona and show you clips of Ewan and Nicole rehearsing there, his creative team, and bits and pieces of the making of his films. There's also a part where he explains his whole creative process and it shows a TON of extras within that. Music videos, press circuits, interviews, and even clips of Baz as a young ballroom dancer!

I can't even remember all of the great extas. If you're a fan, I highly recommend it, though.

I agree with everything you said:nod: I love Moulin Rouge:love::D
Baz and Nicole are a great team I guess:lol:

Btw I'm pretty sure his name is spelled wrong in the title:goof:

And what a long wait it was:thud:
I finally saw the movie:sigh::D It was awesome:) Not the best movie (Baz) ever made, but if you like Nicole and Hugh and can enjoy the breath-taking landscape of the country you'll love it:love::sigh:

I'm in the same sitution, I don't know what I'll do with my moulin rouge dvds. I'll probaly give it to my cousion, Becky.

I'm thinking of getting the Red Curtain Trilogy for my birthday.

I want Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom on DVD ... but I do already have Moulin Rouge!.

I wish I could go to New York and see Baz's version of La Boheme on Broadway!

I'm a huge fan of WSR+J. It was so amazing! Baz did an amazing job with it. He's so creative.

The scenery and costumes are just breathtaking.

I want to say something that I think is pure genius, right before satine gasps, in the end, the curtain moves and some light shines though, symbolizing coming out of the underworld, Chirstain looks back at her, and then she gasps. Just like myth.
