Okay, I may sound like a complete idiot but I have been in car audio for about two years now. I am putting another system in another one of my cars and I was wondering ift here is a way I could put a switch hooked up to one of my amps which would essentially turn one off so that if I do not want the watts to go to my subs, they won't.

I would have 2 amps, one will be on all the time and the other could be turned on through this switch. Is it possible to have this work? I have have the bass knob which controls the subs.

I was also wondering that with that bass knob, would it be in my best interest to have two of those? So it'd be one for each amp, and then having the switch for one of the amps?

***I didn't know how to edit my question or ask in further detail. I have all RF gear and I am getting two more subs and I am going to have 4 amps, 1 amp/sub. This will all be custom work, but I was wondering if there was a switch to shut each individual amp off, for audio shows and shit. Like say I only want to drive and have like 3 powered, keep one switch off because my one bass knob for my 2 subs doesn't kill the subs by any means and I have been warned by cops multiple times about them. PLEASE HELP!
