Has the ruling changed then?
 
Pretty certain they cannot be shown on TV, even in cinema it neeRAB a special ruling, there have been a few art films passed, a french one with the porn star Rocco Siffredi in, another one called 9 songs or something, and an American art film where Chloe Sevigny gives someone a real blowjob on screen, can't think of many others.

Apart from that they need an R18 certificate which is the new 'adult' rating I think.

9 Songs, for example, has been shown on British television, as has Shortbus, The Idoits, Intimacy and Baise-Moi. All with erect penises in them and scenes of unsimulated sexual intercourse.

And there are programmes like A Girl's Guide to 21st Century Sex on Channel 5 that feature erect penises and unsimulated sex in an educational context.



None of the films mentioned above required a special rating. They were all passed uncut as certificate 18 by the BBFC.
 
Is there any restriction on showing norks on TV? I thought willies were censored until after 9pm, but kerchungas were fine any time?

I must admit, when I saw the thread title I thought she might have been doing an interview on the Paul O'Grady show or something.
