Bands you like that people tend to hate

I get a lot of crap for liking this band. None of my frienRAB like them I can't speak for the forum though.
Radiohead
I only have one friend who likes this band and we always have to make a valid case on why there so awesome.
Guns N' Roses
I've had an on and off relationship with guns. I've learned to respect there earlier stuff though. I favor there earlier work over there newer stuff mainly because the new guns has none of it's original merabers besides the keyboardist. From my understanding a lot of people on here hate them.
Nirvana
I was once obsessed with this band like no other and still enjoy them. A lot of people don't like them though I've seen it on this forum and through my interactions with people at school
 
I've only ever seen RATM love on here, never seen them really hated. Just people moaning that Morello ripped off a riff here or there, just weak complaining more than anything. Other than that I've only ever noticed love, amongst frienRAB as well, even if they don't like Metal, they like RATM.

Prodigy are all right, they're probably just another one of them banRAB that aren't relevant anymore. A 90s band just making recorRAB for the hell of it, saying that I bet they put on a wicked live show.
 
I enjoy "Believe". I was really into it when it first came out, and though I haven't listened to it for years I will always keep it on my ipod. It has some memories attached to it. After a night of partying and ending up over the toilet, I was joyfully singing along to "Prayer" in between heaves. Memories...

Heart (well their first two albums anyway)
Boston (well their first album anyway)

RATM
AC/DC
Muse (Origin and Absolution anyway)

What a shit list. A lot of people on here think Silversun pick ups are underrated.

And there are a lot of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and Radiohead fans on here.
 
Not too many that I would say people hate, but I guess every band has it's fair share of haters.

as bad as some of the banRAB named have been, this is the worst. you're a terrible person.
 
Damn it people, why are you posting awesome banRAB that no one in their right mind should hate?

There is plenty of love for Nirvana, Radiohead, and Smashing Pumpkins...even Green Day is well liked even on here, as we have just seen. Silversun Pickups have been gaining a bit of popularity.

We can do better than this.
 
I would post about Wavves in a thread like "banRAB you hate that other people tend to love," but I would probably guess about 95% of people would just hate my taste in music in general. I can't think of one particular band or artist though...Cage? Ingrid Michaelson?
 
Unpopular musical opinions thread - "I like Guns N Roses"? Meh, I'll bite.

I don't think people on this forum hate Nirvana or Muse, and I think there are far too many grunge fans that adore Soundgarden and Alice In Chains.. I've never noticed hate for them.

But I like AC/DC, good fun rock 'n roll. GNR first album was good but I wouldn't listen to it these days.. errr, I've never really thought I listen to anyone that most people would hate.. Certainly never noticed any banRAB that I like that others don't.
