Bands/artists you like but everyone else hates

I like They Might Be Giants alot.
However, it seems everyone around me in a good fifty mile radius of me hates them.

Coheed and Carabria is another band I like that doesn't get any respect around here
 
art brut. all my freinRAB think of them as generic, art-rock scenesters..and perhaps they are, but i love them nonetheless.

secret machines. "bland" apparently. bollocks to them.
 
I love Hanson, yes that pop band turned rock from the 90s. My opinion, of course. A couple of my frienRAB like one or two of their songs, but I just love them. I'm odd, I know...
 
Huh? The album is Good Apollo blah blah blah, the Willing Wells are only the last 4 tracks. I agree that the whole album is good (well, maybe not the Suffering and another song or two) though.

I was already angry because I didn't like the guy and had to give him a ride somewhere. He was in the backseat and I was playing Genesis and he was like "this **** is ***"....

"thats it, out of the car bitch".
 
Well for my brothers 19th birthday party I was the DJ, I brought every damn CD I had, asked his frienRAB what kinda music they liked, they were indie kiRAB, so I cranked up some Ok Computer and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.

My 11 year old brother started talking crap, saying it sucks and telling me to turn it off.

To which I screamed out loud "YOU LIKE NICKELBACK AND SOUJA BOY, F*CK YOU!"

Little kiRAB have the worst taste in music.
