Bad films that you enjoyed

yes..for some reason I enjoyed 'last action hero' a lot. although the barely concealed 'hey kiRAB dont do this at home' message was a bit sickening.

still..I liked it a lot more than Id expected to.

Yeah but they both rank bottom on my "Great Kevin Smith films" scale...

1) Mallrats
2) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
3) Dogma
4) Chasing Amy
5) Clerks

I prefer the Kevin Smith movie everyone else thinks is bad: Mallrats!

Waterworld was savaged by the critics, but I quite liked it.

Mad Max beyond Thunderdome - Although not as good as Mad Max 2 and the critics saying that the only decent thing was Tina Turner, I enjoyed this film. Great visuals and very watchable.

I hate to say it but I spent a happy couple of hours laughing/giggling in disbelief while watching Battlefield Earth.
Surely one of THE bad films of all time yet it has it's unintentional good points:)

Howard the Duck. Ok its not George Lucas's best work, but it did make me laugh. I'm just looking for punishment for admitting to that one aren't I ? :D

Seen the first two episodes of the series.
First one was ok, the second was utter rubbish and I subsequently deleted the other 4 episodes I had off my HD without watching them:)

Yeah, Mallrats is class, but Clerks just shades it in my opinion.

On the subject of liking the least cherished in an artist output, The Cable Guy is easily Jim Carrey's best movie.

Does anyone remember the Lemon Popsicle series of films?

They were like a low budget Porkies,if that is possible lol.

Anyway they were amongst the first films to come out on

rental in the early eighties IIRC.

I really enjoyed them at the time, but I suspect if I saw them

today I would be rather embarrased for doing so.For instance

one example of the comedy was one of the characters trying

to drown his pubic lice in a pool...............now they ARE bad

films!

Gaz.
