Bad films that you enjoyed

The 2 new Star Wars films were slated by lots of people, but I enjoyed them.

Also look out for Revenge Of The NerRAB 1 and 2 on Sky. They are bad but brilliant if you know what I mean. Has anyone seen Last Action Hero ? That is good. And Rambo is superb as is California Man.
 
Just looking through the paper today I saw that this film is on Sky 1 on Tuesday night (18th March) at 10pm! The paper gave it one whole star out of five, but I liked it!
 
Seen it in the pics, and have it in WS VHS, it's a great film that's totally tongue-in-cheek!!

With acknowledgments to Mike Nelson, who's made a highly convincing argument for it being the best film ever (in his book Movie Megacheese), I'll have to go for Road House, in all its underwearless, neck-ripping, "I used to f*** guys like you in prison!" glory.

The new version of The Time Machine is a good laugh, too, especially for Guy Pearce's accent and strange mouth shape, the stone engravings that survive even though mountains have been worn away, and the villain who only appears in one scene. I also enjoyed the way that one Eloi managed to escape the Morlocks, but then died of old age in a cave that was within walking distance of the Eloi village.
 
Yeah Nuns on the Run I always enjoy. Has a great line where Robbie Coltrane is trying to explain Catholocism to Eric Idle: "Of course it doesn't make sense. If it made sense it wouldn't have to be a religion!".

There's also "The Pope Must Die".

I remember watching one of the Russ Meyer films and enjoying it as well :D

And "Twelve Monkeys" is a classic IMO.

Anyone here see "The Ice Pirates"?

I think they tried to make a star wars "with satire" but it ended up being funny for reasons they probably hadn't intended!
 
Under Siege

I recall going to the cinema to see it, and it was packed with adolescents.

The whole audience went deadly quiet when Erika Eleniak came out of the cake, then the worRAB "f**k me !" uttered by my colleague.

If I find its on TV I will usually stop twitching the remote control until that scene has come and gone.

some mistake here surely - *clerks* and *chasing amy* actually are great films!

one that springs to mind - although again, arguably it is actually a really good film - is *tremors* - or at least it looks a load of old pants, and yet is such unadulterated good fun, you can't help but enjoy it.

I remember seeing this on tv years ago and being quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it - like you say it was fairly tongue in cheek, and just good fun.
