just been checking this out on Amazon.com, for the October release.

I do realise that it is early days...
but I am not so impressed with the special features planned for this

i did kind of expect new interviews with the cast about working on the films.
even a doco of some kind about each film - kind of what they did for each of the Alien films for that Quadrilogy dvd boxset some time ago.
Or will this actually be done for the release?
 
mine has FINALLY come!!! after over a week from dispatch.
pity - but the next 4 nights are busy with various other things! i purposely left mon, tue and wed open ready for a BTTF marathon!!!
oh well. next week maybe.
 
I'll be getting this at some point. I'm not normally one to bother with buying the Blu-Ray release of films that I already own on DVD, but as this is Back to the Future I'm willing to make an exception. :D
 
My Bluray trilogy arrived yesterday and very nice it looks too although it would be nice if the documentary was available to watch in one go rather than being split across all 3 discs
 
Overall, the new documentaries are a worthwhile watch. Bob Gale is refreshingly candid over Crispin Glover's non-appearance in the sequels. Basically, he expressed an interest but then priced himself out of the job.

Also, it's great to see new interviews with Michael J. Fox, so courageously battling his condition.
 
I've just thought of a plot hole.
Part 2, Doc gets struck by lightning and cos back to 1885. He buries the Delorean in an abandoned mine for Marty and 1955 Doc to find to go back to 1985. However, Marty goes back to 1885 to rescue Doc and in the process rips a fuel line.

Instead of hijacking a train, why not use parts/fuel from the buried Delorean, and leaving a note for 1955 Doc/Marty?
 
Rather apt that.

In the scene in BTTF2 when the car lanRAB in the alley, next to the car can be seen stacks of old cRAB/laserdiscs etc. stamped with 'Danger Silicone' :D

I got the Tinbox version.
and i must admit, it does come with some awful, useless crap!!! I kind of knew what was coming this way...But I had to have it!!! and the tin box looks very nice!!!
