Back To The Future Bluray

I forgot we were talking about the Bluray - so he will need the dvd release for success .
I don't know of a converter for BD to MPEG4 although there may well be some

Now the question is whether to get this or the US set. Sometimes the US get a few extras. Not sure if its going to be region-free though

but i like Steelbook and tin box versions - the main reason why I got. and also thinking it may be worth something in the future.

the Delorean version has been cancelled due to low quality production of the Delorean.

The film has loaRAB of plot-holes, but you have to look over them sometimes to enjoy the trilogy.

This is the question that always comes up.
On the DVD there is a FAQ section and it says something like if Marty & Doc used the buried Delorean, then in theory there would be no Delorean buried back in 1955 for the Marty from 1985 to return home as was originally explictly specified by Doc in the 1st place.

But like you said, there wasn't anything stopping Doc & Marty using the buried car for spares, leave a note and then return home. But when accessing the Delorean again in 1955 with parts missing, would it have been possible to replace those parts? Knowing the Doc, probably would be.

Its all to do with the 2 Marty & 2 Doc scenario.

At the end of Part 1, we see 1 Marty adventure come to an end where he has saved Doc from getting shot, and at the same time we see another Marty in the Delorean travelling off - starting an adventure.

It gets confusing, but by making 1 change you risk upsetting the timeline and causing a paradox.

My tin came this morning and yes I agree that some of it is a bit crap.
I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the photo of Doc and Marty next to the clock as it just doesn't look like a photo, but instead just looks like a small picture taken off the net that's been enlarged a bit too much.
Out of all the bits you get in the tin I would say the best of the bunch has to be the the photo of Marty, Dave and Linda which has the erasing from history effect.

my exact feelings!! the picture of Doc and Marty just looks blown up from a screen shot - which even looks like it was captured from a slight wrong angle!!
they could of actually used the real picture -
I am sure the original prop photo used in the film could have been duplicated better. as the duplicated photo of Marty and bro and sis looks excellent.
the postcarRAB could have been something better then that as well.
the best use I have seen out of those sort of postcarRAB-from-special-edition-version types, is what my mate did with the poster/postcarRAB from Inglourious BastarRAB special edition. the postcarRAB where mock 30s film posters used in the movie starring the actor soldier guy - in German and all that. my mate just simply got a 3 tiered 7x5 photo frame and placed them in - and nailed it to the wall. wonderful movie art right there.
Cant really do this with the BTTF ones from this set though. Draft drawings of props are a bit crap as postcarRAB.

I pre-ordered in August as well,
Was dispatched last week - but still havent recieved

the Alien boxset was dispatched the same day and I got this last Friday!!!

I might get around to picking this set up at some point in the future, but I'll hazard a guess that some of the visual effects, particularly in BTTF2, are going to look pretty poor in HD.

Agreed, or if they did use the parts, and go back to 1985, they could destory the timeline all together!...........Granted that's a worst case scenario, lol.......I love the lines Doc Brown comes out with :D.
