Aussies, Americans: Do you feel the culture shock?

I'm usually not on Y!A at this time of day (It's almost 7:30 am here) but when I am It's so complicated because alot of Aussies (And others) are on at this time and I can't even answer some questions because they're about Aussies or Australia...Or I don't even understand the questiondue to the difference in slang lol...

Then I'm kind of afraid to post a question because alot of Aussies won't know what I'm talking about lol...All in all I enjoy the mixture of people. It's fun when I get to say "Oh I'm from America...And I don't get it" Lol makes some people mad! Lol

Lol I don't think it's really a culture shock but I couldn't think of a better phrase...Haha.

We Aussies usually understand Americanisms because we get a lot of US TV shows and movies and such over here. I cant blame ya for not knowing the many Aussie-isms that we have. Hell, even the PM is getting in on the act.
