Audrey kawasaki's work is very ,uch inspired by art noveau.. which artist do you like more? and why? if you never heard of either http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com/galleries.php?g=1&r=7&p_id=53&page=3
thats true mucha was the first to do this style
 
Mucha was there at the beginning of art noveau, so he can be credited with the invention of some of the style. Kawasaki is borrowing from others that went before her like Mucha--I can also see some influence from Vaughan Bode. THis doen't mean that I don't like her work, It's very good.
