...you've had, or do?++++++++++++++++? I normally hear that illegals work in fast food chains, crop fields, dirty labor, BUT recently I knew of an illegal that worked as a manager for a retail shop?????How can that happen? I am a F/T student, and wonder if you illegals/ immigrants can get a decent job why cant we all? What is it that you say, offer, or do? Thanks
 
I've known some IT professionals who were illegal immigrants. I've also ran across a few international financiers as well as several medical professionals. Very few illegals are picking tomatoes these days.
 
well first of all if any immigrant works a decent job and gets paid decent, he/she probably lied his way or used fake documents. I've seen it happen before. and well sometimes we all can't get decent jobs because some of us are lazy and think just because were U.S Citizen we feel superior and think we don't need to try as hard as an actual immigrant. Immigrants works his/her ass off to have a decent job. So i guess its the lack of not looking hard enough. (all my respect to all immigrants...hard working people)
 
oh yeah they do get higher up jobs.

If they have no problems paying someone to get them fake papers what is to stop them from having a fake resume complete with fake references. I have no doubt that there is a group operating that provides illegals with phone numbers that they can give employers so when references are checked the group pulls out a folder and tells that employer whatever crap info is in that folder.
 
first of all ur not going to have people come out and say they are illegal immigrants unless they are lying. second you can get a decent job if u work hard and dont think you are too good. Managers start as associates and work their way up. I suggest you grab a broom and start sweeping. Maybe someday you will be as successful as he is.
 
Just because you know ONE person that got a job they are qualified to do, does not mean a lot of them get these kind of jobs......that's ONE PERSON!. If you can't get a job like that, then I suggest you try harder, instead of blaming others for taking those jobs while you complain about it online. That's the problem with people......they complain too much about something they believe should have been handed to them just because they think they deserve it without have to work at it.

Home Depot is a very good example! Many US workers complain about immigrants standing around taking "their jobs", but when do we ever see them standing out there to compete with them?........uh! how about NEVER!

If you really want this type of job, then my suggestion to you is, go out there and try harder and stop complaining about it online.
