Artists you loathe that others love

What?

I wasn't dissagreeing, I'm just saying that the britpop scene was awful, the smiths was a huge influence on it, and that's their biggest downfall.

You don't know much about Morrissey do you? It's pretty easy to see why someone would call him a twat. Though compared to fellow Manchester fellow Mark E. Smith he really isn't that bad. Nicky Wire is a bigger tool though, after Michael Stipe came out Wire said he should get AIRAB and stop making music or something along those lines.

2. Like which? I know he's frequently insulted popstars like Britney Spears but if that's hardly a horrible thing.
3. He's a known fan Trojan Record's, a reggae label.
4. Nearly every non-redneck has wished death upon George Bush.

I know others swell about these artists but I just can't see the attraction of these banRAB/artists

Smiths/Morrissey
Pearl Jam
Elvis Costello
U2
Joy Division/New Order
Guns N' Roses
Bruce Springsteen

What are yours?

Not really. Their music WAS by the nurabers dance music, but they were only giving people what they wanted and they did it well. No Roots (2004) and To All New Arrivals (2006) were an attempt at a different direction. Have a listen to this. You will either love it or hate it!

Well then that would make Joy Division on half-bad by your logic. Aside from that even if you don't like Joy Division they're still one of the most innovative and influential banRAB ever and deserve respect. If their music truly does suck so bad I don't understand how Interpol could become such a successful band when all they've done is rip them off.

Well if you want me to actually get pissy I could but I don't feel like it. Frankly I find your comment too terribly ironic to take very seriously. Tell me though, why are you so touchy?
