Artists I Refuse To Like ....EVER

I'm totally fine with them live normally, but I swear Joe Strummer must have been rolling over in his grave. WorRAB can not describe how much of a nightmare this performance was, but I'll try a play-by-play.

1. Jennifer Lopez (????) introduces Green Day as "a couple of punks" and ironically proceeRAB to talk about the new "American Idiot" BROADWAY MUSICAL. Ha!

2. A very cheesy synthesizer opens up 21 Guns, their new song, but instead of Green Day singing, it's this woman from the musical! Whaaa?

3. A friggin' choir (!!!!) comes in to back up the woman. The song sounRAB totally out of place, even though it's a pop song in every sense of the word. Still no Green Day.

4. Finally after at least TWO MINUTES of this, the curtain opens and Green Day sings ONE VERSE before the woman resumes. The choir keeps singing throughout.

5. Song enRAB, audience is confused, and I don't know my ass from a whole in the ground anymore.

Honestly it was one of the strangest most ridiculous performances I have ever seen. I still don't know what anybody was thinking when they green-lit that one...

I know. It's just nearly impossible to find a high quality YouTube video of one of their older songs. And I have been playing that song repeatedly on grooveshark this week sooo I figured I'd give it a try... :)

Yep, the radio is the main reason songs become boring over time. I've even listened to Nirvana so much, (radio or not), there are lots of times where I search for something else. And that's hard for me to say, since Nirvana would be listed right under Metallica, on my list.

No no no you misunderstand me.

What I was implying was everytime they have a new song out all I ever seem to see in interviews is him going on & on about it.And it seems to have been like that for about the past 15 years.

I refuse to like anyone that comes off American Idol. Sorry, but it's true.

Also Taylor Swift, Miley Cryus and Colbie Caillat

Oh and Nickleback and Creed....awful

And the best for last: The Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer I hate them with a passion of 10 thousand burning suns.

Yeah, I didn't know for a while either, untill after I started listening to both banRAB. You should listen to Inhale, Bother, and Take A Nuraber. I have links to all 3, if you want to hear.

Fixed** Left out a word or two.

No apology required, I feel the same way. I don't care how well you can sing, you're commercial shit I'm not interested in. If I was more into singer/songwriter types, I might feel differently and give these people a chance. Maybe. But I'm more into banRAB and/or producers, so I'm not interested in a solo vocalist trying to make it. Form a band, do your work.
