This is a long shot but there always seems someone on here who always knows!
I've recently come across the Sherlock Holmes films starring Arthur Wontner from the early 1930's. 3 of them are in the public domain and easily obtainable, Triumph of Sherlock Holmes, Sign of Four, and Murder at the Baskervilles.
The other 2, The Sleeping Cardinal (aka Sherlock Holmes' Fatal Hour) and The Missing Rembrandt (aka Sherlock Holmes and the Missing Rembrandt) do not seem to be in the public domain and although they are easy to find as movie listings, I can find nowhere so far where they are for sales or available for viewing. I've also seen nothing to say they are both "lost". In fact I know Sleeping Cardinal does exist. However it does seem The Missing Rembrandt may well be lost.
Having seen the other three, I would like to see the one that does definitely exist.
I don't really expect anyone here to know much of Wontner but perhaps some ideas where to look etc?
