Are you for a Constitutional Amendment banning burning the flag?

They are debating the amendment on the floor of thr House of Representatives as I post this............It is on CSPAN.........
 
~I am against gay marriage as are about roughly 70 percent of all Americans but I am for Civil Unions with full benefits............~

What other than your belief system is left as an objection to gay marriage?
 
Read any number of psychological reports, true stories from those with experience and you'll come up with the same answer, survival is the only objective. Idealism and propaganda leave the stage when shots are fired, bombs burst and all the rest of it. I knew a Navy Seal, a mustang out of the Korean War and true warrior. He looked at it as his job, he loved Vietnam for the firefights, and laughed when people made such stupid statements about what he fought for.
 
Are you just uninformed? There are way to many suspicious things that happend, do you just not pay attention? Anyone in any debate class anywhere in the US could easily argue that it was not foriegn terrorists but our verry own government.
 
You make a good point. I wonder why America has become so divided. Could it possibly boil down to something so simple as a battle of good ( Christian conservatives ) against evil ( pagan liberals )?
 
I was a storekeeper who received 46 months of hostile or combat pay so I defended the flag................

Shame on you for degrading the effort that people who work in of support the troops.........Sometimes woking 16 to 18 hours a day 7 days a week........
 
So there are exceptions to every rule........One thing I know about is the military having been in the Navy for 21 years and in the Department of Defense for another 25 so I know how most Veterans and Americans feel about desecrating the American Flag and how disgusted they are when they see someone do it...........

Well I do agree most teachers have been liberal but they haven't introduced it into their teachings. My most recent government teacher was actually the personal assistant of Tipper Gore but she was the sponsor of the young republican club, she wanted everyone to keep an open mind and as much as you may not realize it, there are conservatives in the north as well.
 
How did I granRABtand my service? I was in the Navy 21 years and am proud of my service and no puke like you can change that.....

You said all support people are not worth squat now you backing down.......
But what else is new? People like you are always that way.......

I could care less what you think......I believe you are just jealous of the people who supported our troops in combat so admirably in both Nam and now...........You have no clue the work required to do that.......

High school student huh......You were not around during the Vietnam Conflict.........You should check it out..........You might learn something......

Or you might ask a Vietnam vet who was spit on or called names like Murderer, rapist and baby killer..........
