Are you for a Constitutional Amendment banning burning the flag?

There is no link that I know of.
.............Do you know what CSPAN is? Its a television network here in the U.S...........It shows demonstrations and protests among other things.............

What other flags are you talking about? I don't know about where you live but in this country we have only one national flag.......

Maybe where you live you want to protect toilet paper. If you do go for it..........

You have a lot to learn in life young man.....Hopefully with age will come wisdom.........

Daewoo has it spot on. We laud the contribution of support staff to the line troops, but we don't confuse putting in a full day's work for the heroism required to put that full day's work in on the front-line.

The difference is that Truthsayer is honest and fair about the work that he did and the contributions that he made, rather than being boastful and vainglorious about it.

Agreed.

BTW - Anyone that wants to burn Ol' Glory has serious problems; they're not burning the flag, but burning those that died so that we could freely and proudly fly it. They're scum of the earth, imo.

You young and have been under the influence of those left wing teachers, ..........When you grow up, get married and have a family you might change your mind.......

Never say never my friend....... :)

I'm not in favor of a constitutional amendment. However, I believe that such scum who do this ought to be tarred and feathered and duly run out of town on a rail. No real American do such a dastardly thing. Never. I'd like to see them try this in North Korea, Cuba or Iran. They would be worm food before the day was out.

wait, doesn't that mean you're a some kind of sexual weirdo VOR?

After all, a 14 year old having kiRAB? Really, what is wrong with you? I hate to tell you this, but your mock wedding in the garden isn't legal at your age.

The irony of it all, to me, is this. One of the reasons I do love this country as much as I do is the fact that some :xcensored hole is free to burn the flag and patriotism is NOT mandated upon us. The FREEDOM to love your country becaus you WANT to not because you HAVE to.

But I wouldn't recommend that any flag burning maggots exercize their flag burning freedom in front of me. It might get nasty.

I think Americans should have the freedom to burn the flag should they desire in order to preserve free speech. But I do think we need a constitutional amendment allowing me the freedom to express myself by beating the living **** out of them if they try to do it in front of me.

Try the Canadian flag, which is brought out for the NHL games when we play a Canadian team. Or anyone of the flags that circle the U.N. And donot resort to the stupid ad hominem, you are so well known for.

Since most of what you spew out is pointless, I merely respond to your worRAB. In this instance, you said, 'The problem is the "Feel Good" liberals are not smart enough to see how they are being used..........'. My response, based on the content of that and other similar offerings by you, prompted the comment re paradox. To me, having you speak on smart is much like the mafia speaking on honesty.
Dono

Another sign that VOR has never been in the military. He supports legislation to remove rights that actual soldiers died to defend. But then again, spitting on the graves of the dead isn't so bad eh VOR?

There seems to be a great deal of emotional talk, but objectively it would seem only reasonable that the flag should not be protected.
1. If one was to burn anothers property that would be a legal contention.
2. If one was to endanger others by burning a flag that would be an issue too.
3. If one was to burn there own property and it was to be a flag (as foolish as it may seem) he has the legal ground- the right to do so.

I think that we could all agree that society would frawn on someone who would do such a thing (flag burning) and for me this would shame him/her which is punishment in my eyes.
We must be very careful about Amendments, because America is a land of laws which at its core is a (at least ideally) Constitutional Democratic Republic.

Let's see. Flag burning is a way of expressing one's disagreement with a nation. It is non-violent. Therefore it is protected under the 1st amendment. Seeing as I actually happen to like the Bill of Rights, I would vote NO.

Well if you live in the USA and have such contempt for people that served in support positions stop by one of those branches and tell them how you feel...........Don't just sit there at you computer........Its easy to put people down there..............

I don't think the guys there will kill you but they will definitely straighten your ass out..........

You don't know me so you can't make that comment..........I am for equal rights for all Americans and that includes Gays......I am not for special right for any Americans and that includes Gays..............

I am against gay marriage as are about roughly 70 percent of all Americans but I am for Civil Unions with full benefits............

Because you cant do "x" along the "axis of evil" you should not be allowed to do it in the US?

Has it never occured to you that America's greatness comes from such behaviour being permissable?
