Are you "American"

I was not aware that Australia and the US we're planning on going to war. If, for som insane reason that happens to be the case, I'll deicde whom I owe loyalty to based on whom I think has the more moral and better position.

Its nice to know my situation sparked this whole debate. :)

No, the differences between you and I are as many as grains of sand on the beach, but in this case, you want to believe that the deplorable behavior by a few at Gitmo was institutional because it suits your agenda. I, on the other hand, know it to be the actions of a sick few. That's the difference. I'm all in favor of punishing the guilty, but the guilty doesn't extend to the WHOLE military as you and your ilk would like to believe.

hey, I give credit where credit is due. The Aussies and Brits are great fighting forces and undertook some difficult house-to-house fighting in the first Gulf War. But it was primarily the Americans that destroyed the Republican Guard and neutralized SH's ability to prosecute the war further.
I'll also admit that US troops aren't the best peacekeepers. They're warriors, not bodyguarRAB or traffic cops.

Dresden had industrial plants that made parts for the Germany military, and that was why it was chosen as a bombing target . Yes, the bombings went too far...yes many civilians got killed... but to paint it as some kind of innocent (meaning there was no military componet ) civilian city that got bombed just to kill civilians is completly misleading.

In a time of war if a city has factories making parts for the military , it is going to be a target.

No, when a person becomes a citizen of the U.S. the first thing he or she does is finish the paperwork.

Also, explain to me how a day old baby can recite the pledge.

Did the illegal immigrants who stayed in the US for 10 years recite the pledge after legislation was passed in Congress which made them citizens?

My advice: just stop talking, you obviously do not know what you are yabbering about.

Jazyjason: VOR will obviously lose this one, but he will contiune with the same refuted argument. One who does not learn from his defeats will only suffer more.

The NYT is not critical of the US as a country, TNYT is only critical of the Bush administration and with good reason. Bush and Co. honey are not the USA

Why do you hate the French so much. Have many French boyfrienRAB dumped you in the past? Yes? Well maybe it was your fault :xangel:
