are these subs any good?

Phoenix Gold makes decent quality subs and fine amplifiers. Any subwoofer though, that is under $100 should not be purchased. It also only has 150w RMS, so maybe it can handle 200w. I highly doubt you'll like the quality of it, because you won't be able to tell that it's there. Maybe you could hear it with a decent 200w amplifier inside of a ported box, but only if you have an SUV. Go higher with the price of a sub, and it gets better. I suggest getting the Phoenix Gold RSDC122 amplifier. 12" 600w RMS, and with the 2 ohm frequency, you can get a cheaper amp with more wattage. This subwoofer costs $140 on Ebay, so take a look!
 
Those PG subs are great budget subs. Better than the similar Kicker comp's. I would run these on limited budget. I wouldn't buy off ebay, they say warranty but there is none. Find someone who can help you.
