are these KENWOOD KFC-W3011 speakers any good?

i was wanting to buy them but wasnt sure if they were good speakers they are cheaper which is good 400 rms each 800 watts but was also wondering what would be a good amp to buy for them?? there is a power acoustik gothic series amp i like are they any good? and its 720 rms is that enough??
 
they make a decent speaker but I prefer Cerwin Vega or paradigm


Cerwins can take a pounding and still hold up over 20 years
 
I think Kenwood has stepped up they're game in the past year or two. They are AMERICAN made here in AMERICA, they make great audio products, and they are sold for a great price. Power acoustic makes some pretty ok amps... never really heard anything BAD about them, but I know of better. How much are you willing to spend on an amp and box?

I agree with banjaxed, I know of some other speakers that aren't too pricy, that will outperform a Kenwood speaker anyday. ....also what kind of head unit are you using?
