Are there many Americans aware of the contribution of Irish Protestants to US

history and culture? Nothern Ireland/Ulster has one and a half milion population now.
We are a very small country. But do any of you Americans of Irish descent actually realise that Irish/Protestant culture gave you 17 presidents??

You may know them as Scots/irish...Ulster/Scots etc, but they were actually just Irish Protestants.

Cool. My Grandmother's family was from southern Ireland and they were protestant. And then she came over here to England. She was allowed to drive here without having to take the test because at the time they didn't have one in place in Ireland
So the people over here were like 'yeah, sure, you can drive'
wish that could work for me
 
Yeah but they be white so they be wrong. Can't nothing be right about white..you dig?
