the rms is 50 and peak is 100 is it safe to run at constant 75 rms each just for the high with no bass or can i just lower the gain to 1/4 just to be safe

i would not send any more wattage than they are rated to handle, and i would invest in some bass blockers to protect them

I would say they are prob underated but not that much. Don't ever go over the RMS by more than 10%

10% is the rule of thumb. Although it depends on the speaker and the amp that is pushing them, but if I were you I would pay a little more for some speakers that handle 75watts rms.

there rated for exactly 50 RMS each there are CEA 2006 approved and what is rated is there EXAcccttttttttttt measurements, also not a huge fan of rockford fosgate.. if your looking to amp some speakers alpine type R coax, Kenwood Excelons are some of the best consumer speakers available.

Wouldn't recommend running 75W RMS to those speakers.

If you plan on running 75W RMS - skip the JVC's. If you want to run with Fosgates, why not go with the Power T162C's? $69 at Sonic.
