Are PS3s popping up in stores EVERYWHERE now?

Yeah, I saw many PS3's at the Wal-Mart tonight when I picked up my 360. I had never seen one in comparison but the fucking thing is bigger than the 360

PS3 didn't sell 1 million. They sold under 700k. They SHIPPED 1 million, but NPD says they sold less than 700k.

And you couldn't find 360s just sitting on store shelves until April 2006, when over 1.3 million 360s had already been sold. PS3s started collecting dust after a measly 650k sold.

and that's a very good thing, considering the majority of the launch XBox 360's didn't last for very long. I'm still trying to figure out what they were thinking when they decided to release an unstable, unfinished product?

Yes, they released it, and yes, there were problems, but I think they've done a pretty good job of addressing the problem. The new systems aren't having the problems the launch ones have had and they've fixed people's systems and extended their warranties.

The funny thing is, they havn't received hardly any negative press over the issue...in the meantime, everytime sony turns around someone is saying something negative about the PS3 or Sony is caught in another lie. It's not the PS3 that's fucking up either....it's Sony.

wrong. PS2 was impossible to get becuase they didnt make enough - niggas were paying $600-700 on eBay for months

I love how having enough product on the shelf for people to buy is somehow a negative

Kevin,

You know what that picture of the Wiis tell me? That, to the stock boys, it isn't even worth the time to take them out of the shipping boxes, that they know that people will scuff them them up so quickly that they'll end up throwing away all the packing material, thereby saving them time and the work of throwing away the trash.
