I work with a couple of clerks in our Accounting/Finance department and they are hardcore liberals. They advocate and support universal health care to all sorts of rights for everyone, even trees.
There are 8 clerks that are liberal, and they are all women. Now maybe it's just their motherly love or something that's having them have all these emotions, but they are pretty vocal about their beliefs, even shouting us down at times, because they don't understand it when we start talking about economic consequences.
The saddest thing, is that none of them have a college degree. Everyone else in the office is either a moderate democrat or moderate republican and most of us have our Masters Degree.
Although this is a poor sample, but from what I can observe is that those that advocate free handout from the Government and tend to be more liberals are the ones that are less educated.
BTW I am a Democrat. And I do not agree with both the very far left or the very far right.
