When i first arrived in the US, i got a lot of resentement from African Americans because i was African. Many held very ignorant views about Africans. In fact most of them were even very racist than the whites But what helped was that i got to live in a community where there was alot of Africans. The African community encouraged me to focus in school and i graduated last year. This also made me reject their culture completely. I don't listen to rap music at all. All i listen to is African music and regea. Actually, the white Americans were very welcoming. This made me think that may be because African Americans were stripped of their culture and enslaved. Yet we Africans retained our culture and we still speak our local languages besides English. I was also shocked to see that despite the free Education in America, many choose to do drugs yet Africans come to America with nothing and become doctors and Engineers.
If you are African American, whats your opinion on this?
Joe English is not my language. I have my own language. I just try to speak it. What other language do you speak about from English?
I meant apart from English.

I'm not african, but I like em from Africa ;) Just kidding, either way, I think it's just because people choose to be in a rut, and you know, it is up to that person whether they are going to do something with their life or not. I guess it's just their decision if all they choose to do is not contribute to society.

yes, and obviously you cant even write in english, because "jelousy" is not spelled correctly or even used in the correct context. it should simply be "jealous".
