Okay so I just got a pair of subs new amp all that for my 2000 maxima. Everything was hooked up but I think something came undone because the amp wasnt tuning on but the subs still worked. So I went to the back and was playin some music (car on) and was seeing if any of the amp wires were loose so i tightened everything but I loosened the blue wire (remote wire?) and it sparked and everything turned off. I open the hood and found the main red wire hooked up to the battery it's fuse was blown inside the wire so I have to get a new one. However whenever I try to turn the stock head unit on just the radio it wont turn on no matter how i try it. I checked out the fuse box or audio fuses and none appeared to be blown unless its under a certain name or abbeviation which i didnt check. Any help would be awesome thanks!
Yeah I checked the fuses under the hood and on the drivers side but I didnt find the fuses I was looking for Im pretty sure that I blew the head units fuse. Would this fuse be actually behind the head unit when I pull it out? I know how and I reconnected the blue remote wire. And its a Kenwood 1200 watt amp. My car has th bose system in it which makes it a pain but I got the rca adapter and kept the stock head unit.
