Yep, another fan here; it's a comfortable ensemble now and enjoyably contrived. When I was only catching it sporadically I thought it was supposed to be a serious police procedural.. until the producers admitted on the DVD extras that it is, in fact, Sherlock Holmes in the modern era.
Must say though there are times when I find it hard to laugh. Adrian Monk is a man crippled by grief and at times I think I shouldn't be laughing.
At least, it seems, it is going to end with a resolution, not just conk out as so many series do.
