Any other Monk fans out there?

That is a hilarious scene. Correct me if I'm wrong (it's ages since I've seen it), but I believe that's from the episode where they're stuck in traffic.

Oh I love Monk so really glad to see this thread and know I'm not the only one. "It's a Jungle Out There" is my ringtone (can be a bit embarrassing sometimes!!). I have seen all the episodes so many times but cannot name a favourite. I love the way Monk has moved on over the seven series - we think he's suffering now but he is so much better than he was ... if we look back at the very early episodes. I think Natalie has been really good for him. I don't really want to see series 8 because I know it's the last series and don't want it to end. I am always surprised to see it classed as a comedy - yes there are some funny bits but there are also sad and very poignant parts. I always think how very brave he is - life is a constant challenge to him. Good acting and clever storylines.

Finally a new episode! I'm really angry at the BBC for treating Monk so bady and this season has been the worst. They started showing season 6 in Feb/March and they even switched the days around and we're only up to episode 14!!! I've already watched all of season 7 (thank you ITV) and that aired a few months after the start of season 6. That shouldn't have happened. It's like they'll show 2 hour films on a sunday but they can't even show an episode on Monk or on BBC1 they'll show an episode of DM or MSW on a sunday, which is a repeat when they could so easily have put on a new episode of Monk.

I don't like the way ITV have put a cartoon called 'Monk' on at the same time that the previous series of 'Monk' was shown.

I thought I had missed an episode. :)

Good to hear BBC2 are finally showing a new episode, I agree they have treated it badly.

I absolutely love this show! I've been watching it on Hallmark, but I think they only have the first few seasons. I think I might just get all the seasons on DVD and watch them in order. The show has the perfect balance of comedy and drama, with great storylines and characters. Adrian Monk must be a really hard role to play but Tony Shalhoub plays it so well.

I love Sharona and I wish there were more seasons/episodes with her. I've only seen the first few seasons so haven't seen as much of Natalie yet, but she's great too.
