Any good books on the History, Culture, Literature of the Americas.?

What period of time?
'1491' is interesting about America before Europeans
'Americanos' is good about Latin America
'Mayflower' is great, I loved it
I also really like 'A leap in the Dark' about the lead up to the revolution, really put you there
'The American Revolution in Indian Country' title says it all
If you are looking for Civil war period, I have 2 that cover it from the southern perspective, 'Sea of Gray' or 'Look Away' ( I could not put down 'Look Away')
And I also really liked 'Panama Fever' (but the first 150 or so pages are a bit dry, I just had trouble keeping up with the French characters)

If any off those fit the time period you are into, I hope it helped.
