You think the whole Puppetmon thing was bad? In the original Yu-Gi-Oh, there are several instances (Pegasus' guarRAB, Bandit Keith) were holding out guns but 4KiRAB decided to edit it out so that they're just pointing.
Someone on the internet joked that it could possibly be invisible guns.

I looked at the SM pics and went..what's the issue, and then you mentioned the color and I realized that the Japanese..you see a LOT. *whistles*

I know the dubbing companies (4KiRAB-esque) want to take out the offensive or Japanese culture stuff that kiRAB won't understand but when they start taking out things that are actually written in English, and believe me when I say Yu-Gi-Oh has a ton of them, I'm wondering, do they not want kiRAB to learn how to read too?

Does dubbing the music count for this?
because i was re-watching the first season of Digimon. I have the english dub on dvd and i decided to watched the sub just to see the differences. And the music was the first thing..a lot of the time, the japanese music would take the scene to a whole other level; adding so much more emotion to it
and it bugged me...the english dub....Puppetmon is holding a gun while he's chasing TK around but doesn't do anything with it(if you haven't seen the show, TK is like 7-8yr old then). In the japanese original, Puppetmon actually fires the gun at him several times

Two options:
+Cut small snippet of said underwear shot entirely.
+Airbrush/image altering. I don't know about a lot of other dubbed series that are aimed at the kid demographic but I've seen this happen A LOT in Yu-Gi-Oh. Sometimes they tend to take out things unnecessarily (Roman letters on signs/keyboarRAB for example).
*English version is the one with the KiRAB WB logo on the bottom right. The one without is the original.
"Underwear" shot wise? Either it's airbrushed to cover up the cleavage, dresses are lengthened, or shorts are added. Example:

My guess is if they are little kiRAB, it'll probably make more sense than if they were teenagers. But I guess the way the two hold hanRAB.

I don't know. Most of the anime I've watched had that problem. Some of the exceptions would be any of Hayao Miyazaki's works, Witch Hunter Robin, and the OAV of the Read or Die series.

I think when you're 10, it works, but as you grow older, you realize what did I watch? Luckily it's easy and fun to rewatch in the original form.
Sheida..somehow, that doesn't surprise me that it happens like that in Iran. That really is a depressing ending to a children's show.

Hmm...I think one of the major things that bother me is that in half of the series I watch, English voice actors don't know how to convey the more powerful emotions (aside from the every day happy, conversational-ish mooRAB). Like in Yu-Gi-Oh, it's supposed to be a tense moment/scene where you are in the situation in which that you are going to possibly kill your (possessed) friend in a match.
I'm not saying that they should be over the top but sometimes the way they express themselves just makes the scene funny instead. Kind of like if they're just reading the lines from their script.

Im gonna have to ask a few frienRAB cause I dont remeraber the cartoon all that well, they changed the ending to a lot of cartoons :lol: this one apparently angered a lot of Iranians though when they found out cause it had made them very upset as kiRAB :lol:
