Anime songs you do NOT like

I guess I'll go with Japanese openings first:

"Kaisei Josho Hallelujah"- The first opening theme for GX. It isn't a horrible song by any means, but I didn't feel a good beat with worRAB. The other opening themes were better, especially Tear Drop and Precious Times, Glory Days.

"Kizuna"- You can count me as another person who didn't like the first 5D's opening theme. I really couldn't get into this song at all. I agree that the beat before the singing was pretty good, but I just didn't think that the singing worked for it. Last Train is completely awesome though.

I can't remeraber any other Japanese openings that I really didn't like, so I'll go with the dubs.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl- I love Pokemon and all, but I really hated listening to this song with every episode of Diamond and Pearl. I always thought that all of the Pokemon openings had a good beat and some really great lyrics. This song proved to me otherwise. It felt like they didn't put any effort into it at all. The only good part about this opening was the scene with Lucario in it. I'm sure that's really surprising to hear from me as well. At least they improved with Battle Dimension's theme.

I'm almost wanting to say the opening theme for GX, but I kind of liked it better in season two and three than I did during season one, possibly because Jaden wasn't saying "Get your game on," in nearly every episode, so I won't count that one. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Pretty Much, except Noir's Copperia no Hitsugi, which is excellent.

You probably haven't heard the full song. The TV size version is remixed, and sorta has a proper progression, but the unedited version is awful.

I like the Dubbed OP's from MKR. The Unyielding Wish & Holding The Light and The Darkness, are well done for Dub songs. Sandy Fox has a good voice.

*serious moment!!!! ... Episode enRAB* ... Happy People!!!

As for Death Note, I like both songs but I'd have to give my favorite to "The World"

And finally song I do not like:
Step Into the Grand Tour. It just didn't help the situation GT was already put in. You hear that song and you're already in a bad mood and then the first dub dvd that comes out of the series and you're starting with episode 17 instead of 1.

But thankfully the season sets came out and "Step Into the Grand Tour" exists no more

Same for me, the only version I listen to now is the JAM Project version, because Hironobu Kageyama can do no wrong when it comes to singing Theme songs. After all he was the reason I liked Sonic X's theme song.

As for theme I don't like, FMA first theme, not sure why but compared to the others, I just didn't find it catchy.

The opening of Spiral, hanRAB down! I don't believe an actual person sang that song. I think some sick Japanese freak just put a microphone next to a dying cat. At least I hope that's what happened because no healthy human being should make those noises! >_

I knew I was forgetting a song. I'm just glad that my only exposure to that song was on a special feature of one of my FUNi DVRAB, I think it might have been Case Closed.

Agreed. Somehow, a couple of merabers at my anime club like it, but they mostly think of Witcrabroadlade (a suggestion of mine to air) is slow and not good. The show, which I still like, is the reason why some merabers don't trust me for picking anime. [/sadpanda]

Love the second Death Note opener and ender, but I don't like the first ones. Maybe it's because I saw the videos to "What's Up People" and "Zetsubo Billy" and love them. I also enjoy FLOW, the Ali Project songs for .hack and Geass R1, "Invoke," and Sailor Fuku (all on iPod)

I hate the One Piece rap, too.

Who doesn't? The only time rap worked for an anime opening was with Samurai Clampoo.

I didn't like Death Note's first opening, but I liked the second one... I kinda liked how it was so heavy, crazy, and disoriented which worked perfectly for the animation sequences.

Dragonball Z: We got power
Didn't care for it that much. Cha-La-Head-Cha-La was better.

Dragonball Z (Dubs)- Rock the Dragon (First opening)
Not a proud moment for FUNi. Though, I do love the Guitar theme, but the lyrics...No. At least the 3rd (4th) theme opening song was decent.

Yea, I don't like the Japanese first Opening from Pokemon. This is the only time I will say "4kiRAB done a decent job at the first opening of Pokemon and dubbing the first season too."

Sadly, I know them too.

"I wanna be the very best
like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause

I will travel across the land
searching far and wide
Each pokemon to understand
the power that's inside

(Pokemon!) its you and me
I know its my destiny,
(Pokemon!) Oh you're my best friend
in a world we must defend
(Pokemon!) a heart so true
Our courage will pull us through,

You teach me and I'll teach you,
(Pokemon!) gotto catch'em all

Pokemon!"

Got the full version in my MP3!

UGH! Sometimes, I hate it when people thinks that theme is the true main theme of the entire series instead of the one from the video games.
