Anime songs you do NOT like

This made me laugh so hard. I've got people staring at me right now in the college computer lab.

Though personally I liked the random metal charge. You never hear it coming because you're expecting more techno like the other Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny themes and then the riRAB come in. I thought the song was awesome, IMO.

Same here. Same situation and everything.

I don't think a lot of the CE songs are bad in themselves, (I still like Wings of WorRAB), but the OP directors apparantly thought it was a good idea to just rehash the same scene over and over again. Maybe if we were lucky we'd get 3 or 4 new ones.

Then again, this is the same series that abused stock footage to the point that they were using scenes from the OP in the episodes...more than once too.

I hate the dub opening of Magic Knight Rayearth.

When you hear it, you will get cavities: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/video/143/

Although to defend SEED's opening, it's not only "Invoke" and "Ignited" that weren't hackjobs, but also "Believe"... I believe.

Oh and while we're on the subject of Gundam songs, I question anyone who doesn't enjoy the English version of Human Touch. With a negative statement like that I'll be all... up your nose with a rubber hose... Imma just sayin' yo.

But then again, I must also say that the opening and ending to Furuba just doesn't do it for me. It's too... soft, serene and well... not that interesting to the point that I can't help but skip them when I watch episodes.

I knew someone would bring that up. However, I think that as a song, it's actually pretty decent. It wasn't necessarily an ideal choice for a final Gundam opening, but I wouldn't call it bad.

In contrast, I used to like Pride...the ending part of the TV version was the part I didn't like. And then I heard the full version. Argh, the awful contrast! GSD's second opening is now regrettably tainted.

On Death Note's 2nd OP: I won't say it's necessarily objectively bad. But that kind of music I naturally hate by default really, and it was a real bummer to get that after the really engaging first one.

What did I just hear? Can I un-hear it please?

Oh yeah, I've always loved FUNi's dub songs. I've never heard one that I disliked but man, they should have either gotten somebody else or just not dubbed over "Sakura Kiss." The lady sounRAB so bland compared to the original. And that's saying something for me because I actually think a lot of the FUNi songs are better than the original ("Smile Borab" and Vic's version of "We Are" have to be on some sort of soundtrack or something) but "Sakura Kiss?" No thank you.

Code Geass-First opening
When that show pop in Adult Swim, I said "This is new". I haven't seen any clips of the show or what it is, but I just wanted to see how it is.
Once the show started, and the opening came, I lost interest in that show. The music was bad, the art style was the 3rd worst art style I ever seen and...I didn't like it.
As I was watching the open, there was one part that made me mad with some old reason: You see C.C. trying reach someone. Acting all dramatic! I just don't know why that got me so mad.

I heard good things about the show, it got a good story plot, right?

You based an anime on its opening? That's just ridiculous. Most of the openings never actually happens in the show. An opening is just something to pay the bills to make the anime.

Aww, I liked What's Up People! More original than how the first OP sounded.

As long as we're mentioning dub themes, how about the one Tokyopop gave [strike]Groove Adventure Rave[/strike] Rave Master? It'll turn you off ska music for life.

And the end theme is even worse. Why can't they be like FUNimation in the old days and dub the songs into English? It'd be much better than THIS monstrosity.

I thought that video was for the first theme. Compared to that, I find the second theme relatively harmless.

YOU HAVE INSULTED THE AWSOMENESS OF THE BAND FLOW! YOUR NEGLIGENCE SHALL NO LONGER BE TOLERATED! COMMENCING ARMED INTERVENTION OF TARGET!

But seriously, it's got an amazing plot (HC's comments withstanding) and storyline so don't just judge it by the OP song and give a whirl.

EDIT: Okay, read previous comment. That's cool. Nobody has to like the same thing....just don't bring FLOW into this...

I've noticed What's Up People!? is a polarizing force for Death Note fans... personally I love it, but, well, I'm weird.

Not a big fan of the openings of Code Geass... well, the first opening, at least - I've never actually seen any of the others. I did enjoy the ending, though. It's fancy.

...and that's pretty much it. I don't have any particular dislike of most songs. I mean, a lot of Bleach's (and Naruto's, for that matter) endings are meh-ish, but I tend to avoid shows with suckish music, as they tend to... you know... suck.

What's up people ROCKS !!! I'm a big Maximum the Hormone fan so I'm really objective though

I hate Inner Universe from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I usually skiped the opening while watching that show

Hmmm...you dislike FLOW and you find Ali Project "fancy?"

Clearly you are a nega-version of me and most be eliminated as soon as possible. A Terminator shall be approaching you shortly....

Oh, this'll be fun.

"Heart Moving" - the first Japanese Sailor Moon ED. It's just too mellow for the show. The series is an upbeat grls-kick-butt type show & it doesn't fit. Plus, the animation's really bland.

Anything by Jinn. I'm sorry girl but, you can't sing. You can try but, I'll never understand how you got a record label.

"Marionette" - Zoku zetsubou sensei's 2nd ED. Because in a show about suiciding teachers, we should be singing about how girls are puppets, right? *shot* (Also, it was a big letdown after "Koiji Romanesque".)

"Kizuna" - YGO 5D's first OP. Thank god "Last Train" came when it did, because that song was awful.

Agreed, although I did like the ED song "Zetsubou Billy"

I surprisingly agree with all of these

I've never liked a single Sailor Moon ED personally. I mean, I tolerated the SuperS one (Yes, that one) but they are all kind of bland

Ah, that's who I was forgetting who I disliked more than Ali Project. All of her songs (That I have heard anyway. I've heard like 4) really, really sound like she's just screeching into a microphone

That was a real letdown because up until that point, that was the first show in which I actually listened to the endings at the end and never got tired of them.

The first 30 seconRAB of that song are pure awesome. Kicking beat, random gibberish and a new breed of metal guitar that we very rarely get to hear in a Yu-Gi-Oh series....

Then they start singing and....
