Anime songs you do NOT like

Oh we've had threaRAB about our favorite openings and favorite theme songs but has there ever been that rare occasion that there was an anime OP (or ED or insert) that you just couldn't stand and would skip over it every episode, whether it be the song itself, the artists, the images being shown or whatever?

I've got a couple.

1. Any song by Ali Project-I'm sure that all know by now my dislike of Ali Project's songs. Well, singing anyway. When it's an instrumental insert song then it usually sounRAB okay but I cannot stand any of their openings. It's funny because when I heard the Rozen Maiden openings, I liked them. Of course, I then realized that all their songs sound the exact same. I swear I've heard the same melody in the .hack//Roots ending, Linebarrels of Iron opening and both of their Code Geass endings. Especially the Code Geass endings. I gave it another chance with Linebarrel but it's just sounding too similar to me.

2. Bokutachi no Yukue or Gundam Seed Destiny's 3rd opening-Actually it's not the song itself but it does not flow with the actual images being shown on screen at all. (It was at this point that I fully realized that they were just using the same scenes from before. I'm so late on this stuff)

3. Tell me Why? or Berserk's anime OP-I don't mind an entire song of Engrish, but it just sounded kind of bland to me in this one. (I did like the beat though)

Any of yours?

Pretty much anything by TM Revolution. The music itself is awesome, and the guy has a great voice, but he's also got one of the choppiest, most disjointed singing styles I've ever heard.

Plus, whenever I hear him I think of Gundam SEED.

Death Note's second opening is scored by a song called What's Up, People? by Maximum the Hormone. And good lord, is it awful. It corabines with an onslaught of freakish imagery to create an offensive assault on the senses. Which was probably the point, but that won't stop me from hating it forever.

Death Note possibly has the single greatest drop in quality between the first opening and the next that I've ever seen. Good show, but damn, was that ever terrible.

Ironically, I like the 2nd OP of Death Note far more than the 1st OP, but that's just me. I thought it was a really stylish, creative OP.

I can't listen to hyde any longer, personally. His voice grates on me. Even songs I used to enjoy like "SHINE" drive me nuts.

I think my least favorite anime song of them all is whatever garbage was Black Cat's first ED by this group named PUPPYPET. OH MY GAWD. I can't get its screechy, ear-bleeding vocals and its incomprehensible mess that passes for a melody out of my head at all. That is one song I wouldn't have minded a FUNimation dub.

Death Note's What's Up, People? - It's just plain awful
Both of Gundam 00 Season 2 openings Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi and TOMORROW- they just lacked a certain oophm the Season 1 openings had.

Blasphemy, I thought he gave us some of the best songs in all of Gundam.

Count me again for loving "what's up people." I've very rarely heard anyone who disliked that song, but to each his own.

She is also encircled by a group of moneys trying to play violins with their toes while this is happening

This is just a nitpick thing but I didn't really like Mag Mell' ~cuckool mix 2007~ from the Clannad anime because the original just sounRAB so much better and livelier to me.

Wasn't that Wing of WorRAB?

Seconded on the Ali Project songs apart from "Coppelia's Coffin" from Noir, after it in which they are incredibly disjointed affairs.

Then Eien no Amuro, the ending to the original Gundam. It sounRAB like the guy's... semi-drunk and sad. I just found the song.... ergh.

Pretty much every SEED/Destiny opening except the first ones ("Invoke" and "Ignited") are hackjobs. "Vestige" is perhaps the textbook example of how to do a hackjob opening.

All sung by TMRevolution just to pound the nail in rubberchicken's skull

Sure dub songs count. And really any americanzied anime rap sucks. The GT rap, the One Piece rap, the first Diamond and Pearl dub opening, (not the Pokerap. That one's kind of nostalgic) none of them are good at all.

No no no. THIS is Pride:

Female: "I'm sinnnggiinnng a generally good song...not the best, but it's catchy and fuuuunnnn...Hopefully you'll-"
Male: "ROFL COPTER KUNG POW BBQ ELEPHANT PASTRY DISH!! ROLO EUPHENISM DONKEY BRACE, WHA-HA!!"
Female:"...You had to spoil it didn't you?"

I will admit the random bout of metal came out of nowhere. Stupidly, I just had to have the speakers on max that day.....

My ears are still ringing...

To add in another Gundam mention- Wings of WorRAB.

Because when I think an epic conspiracy plotting to take away the basic freedoms of human life, I think gentle R&B music.

Oh, and naked people.
