Anime series with no finales

Inspired by this thread. What anime series did not have a proper ending at all?

Sarutobi Ecchan - The last episode focuses around an American Ecchan doppelganger named Eiko, who wants to see Mount Fuji.

Miracle Girl Limit-chan - The last episode was about Limit's homeroom teacher and PE teacher getting engaged. Her teachers also discover Limit's a cyborg. The major conflict of Limit only living a year (unless another operation was performed) was not resolved.

Candidate for Goddess - I honestly forget how the last episode went, but it certainly didn't wrap things up at all.

New Cutey Honey - Ended with a typical "Monster-of-the-day" episode.

Originally Ultimate Muscle ended before it got to the Chojin Olympics in Japan. If it wasn't for 4kiRAB, I don't think that series would have gotten the ending it had.

Galaxy Angel - Relatively notorious for not having not much of a proper finale. In fact, in the original and Zeta they'd set it up for some major dramatic story only for them to cut back and realize that it was the last episode.
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo - Everybody unites to defeat the big bad, but are ultimately shocked that there was no ending to it all.
Ebichu - ...Yeah. Nothing really is in the end resolved and it enRAB on another perverted moment, and Office Lady doesn't get together with the Useless Bum.
Berserk - ...Kindof, given the continuation of the manga.

Spiral.

Spiral.

Spiral.

For serious. It's like if Lost just up and ended without answering any of the main mysteries it set up.

Total letdown, and forced me to read the manga (isn't a bad thing or anything).

Not to mention that 3 of the 4 series he stated (I can't really say much for Witch Hunter Robin since I didn't see a lot of it) all had what one would call a finale.

Loveless' ending gave most of the cast their own death scene and resolved ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Tokko had so much build-up to the final battle between Ranmaru and the bad guy that they run out of time at the end of the last episode and skip the battle entirely, so the series just...enRAB.

Wolf's Rain had a depressing kill-'em-all ending which didn't make much sense. But then, neither did the entire second half of that show.

I second Inuyasha. Naraku gets away...AGAIN.

Vandread? Seriously? I liked that ending.
Or are you referring to season one? Because there are two seasons of 13 episodes.

I thought that Galaxy Angel before II/Rune had a finale?

The Angel Brigade are revealled to be actors in a propoganda show for the Empire. The Galaxy Angels don't really exist and when a doomsday crisis appears, the Empire forces the actresses to step in and serve as the Angels (the episode is much more serious and realistic)...however, it then turns out that apparently this isn't the case and that in fact the Angels had discovered a Lost Technology which made them lose their memories and believe in the fake reality. The ending basically leaves it to the audience to decide which circumstances they prefer

Here are some anime which I found to have poor endings (if you would even call them endings at all):

Hunter X Hunter- I liked the GI arc, but I'm not happy that the anime ended with that. Its definitely better than having ended right in the middle of the best arc in the series, so far (IMO), like the TV series did (which is why I'm so glad that the OVA's came out), but GI's ending just wasn't satisfying for me at all. Perhaps its because I wanted to see the Chimera arc animated, but knowing that the story was not over at that point, I really wasn't happy with where the anime left off.

Tenjou Tenge- The anime just left off right in the middle of the story, and that's when things were actually starting to get interesting for me. I plan to continue the story, through the manga, sometime, though.

Rurouni Kenshin- The final season was nothing but filler. What else can I say? Most of it wasn't even good filler material, IMO. It just lacked all of the substance that I got from the first 2 seasons, especially from the awesome 2nd season (the Kyoto arc). I really do wish that the final arc in the manga could one day be animated. I know that the Samurai X OVA's cover part of it, but its just not the adaption that I really wanted. Well, at least the Trust and Betrayal OVA's were good, but I'm not at all fond of Reflection.

There are some more anime which I didn't enjoy the endings of (mostly because they simply just didn't feel like endings to me, at all), but I'll list them down later.

I really liked Wolf's Rain ending. While it was harsh, I thought it was a good representation of reality in a sadistic and cruel way. Or at least that's how I took it, and yes I know the series isn't realistic in the least bit.

And while it certainly had a finale, Gundam Seed Destiny's could have been done a lot better and I don't really feel as if it closed off the entire series very well. (Granted, there were talks of a movie, but still...)

Irresponsible Captain Tylor, if you don't stop after the TV series and try to watch the OVAs. Most of those are self-contained, yes, but the few which try to advance a larger story lead nowhere, leaving you with what is essentially a cliffhanger and there is no animated conclusion in sight.

Gundam SEED Destiny is something of a special case because it had three tries at a finale, each one adding to the last one. Most infamously, the TV ending has the antagonist being blown up and enRAB on the 'heroes' posing.

The last episode of 2x2=Shinobuden (Ninja Nonsense) is EXTREMELY non satisfactory ><

We never got anything that was promised by the ending and we don't even get Shinobu declaring her love to Kaede!

Hm... Did not know that. I always treated the first series, Zeta, A, AA, X and so forth to be their own series and not so much seasons, ergo I saw that there was no... finale per se in that regard if that logic is understandable.

It's been awhile since I saw the ending, but didn't
Ebichu's master get pregnant, and the useless bum swore he quit drinking?
.

My mind really must be in the dumpster when it comes to remerabering certain endings.
The way I remeraber it was he wasn't wearing a condom at the time and there was no revelation that she was pregnant but it was acknowledged that he didn't put one on and they're all shocked. Then Ebichu makes an exit aside, then roll credits
Advanced alzheimer's I must be getting or I've actually been mistaking certain episodes for final ones.
