Animated movies fans !!??

Just wondering if you could take the time to list some of your fave animated /computer generated movies.

My faves are - in no particular order !

Robots
The Incredibles
Antz
Ice Age 1 and 2
Toy Story 1 and 2
Ratatuie

Flushed Away and Happy Feet were quite good.
As were Open Season and Over the Hedge.


Not a great fan of Monsters Inc or Cars or even A Bug's Life.

Have I missed any GREAT ones ???

Most from Pixar, and most from Studio Ghibli. The Aristocats from Disney classics too. Oh and the stop motion Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my all time favourites. Akira is a classic.

Can't really count beowulf really I dont think. it was hardly animated, it was about 99% motion captured, with a slight tweaks made by animating.

Well, no-one's mentioned Watership Down yet, which is undoubtedly a classic. There's also the animated version of Animal Farm.

I'm sorry but that did make me laugh. It doesn't matter what medium of animation its in its the story that makes it.

I was thinking more of CGI animations rather than cartoons .

I'm sorry to pick that apart, but I can't let that one pass.

CG and Hand drawn are both animations, if you prefer "cartoons".

CG is just a trend du jour at the moment. And its been responsible for some pretty poor films as the lesser studios (and even the Mouse) try to cash in.

It doesn't matter what animated medium its in, a good story is a good story.
