Angus thongs and perfect snogging

Bizarrely there is one scene in the movie where Georgia and her pals end up in a rock club in Brighton where alcohol is freely flowing. Just how a group of 14 year olRAB managed to get into the club without being ID'd (and Brighton seafront ID policies are just about the toughest I have experienced) is anyone's guess.

Well I saw it last night - and I really enjoyed it - they did miss out loaRAB of stuff from the books - but they could not have packed everything in - but it was funny and I would easily watch it again -

One of my best frienRAB used to be very good frienRAB with Aaron Johnson (Robbie in the film). They even went away to Spain together for 2 weeks a few years ago. But they've sort of grown apart because he was always off filming abroad and in different areas of the UK.

I've met him a few times too. Even a friend on his personal MySpace :p

How's that for a claim to fame? :p

--- Well, i'm 19 now, & i read the books when i was 13/14, i thought the books were hilarious etc..

&& i personally thought that it was realistic, there were things that georgia and her frienRAB did that reminded me of what me & my frienRAB did whe we were 13/14...perhaps it's because we were at a girls school, so boys to us were far more of an exciting subject because they were never around lol.:p

But yeah i agree about the part where he falls or her, in real life, the 'boy of your dreams' rarely even takes a 2nd glimpse! :(

...Just everything about the film reminded me of my life at the girls school i went to & the way we were, i love it!

lol good claim to fame, he went to the same stage school as my bro, and went to school with my friend. & my bro went on a trip to a photoshoot somewhere with his mum...buut i've never met him...& i don't have his myspace/facebook:(

a few years ago whn i was 15, i remember seeing him at an under 18s night, he had long hair then, & it was aroound the time he was in feather boy. the girls he was with gave him LOARAB of attention! lol :p

I live in Eastbourne where it was filmed. I was hoping to be in it! I applied to be an extra and was offered a passer by on the seafront. I thought great, even if I am in the background for one second I will be on the big screen! Unfortunately i was unable to take part as I didnt own a pair of flip flops! They wanted me to dress in beach gear on a cold October morning and supply my own beachwear. They gave me just 12 hours notice of this. I dont own some of the clothes they wanted. So I had to either rush down to a store and buy these items or turn it down. So I turned it down. So when i see it i will be looking out for the scene i could have been in!

it wasnt the same as the book, which annoyed me. espesh the dad bit. she hates him in the books

but it was really good. and funny

and steve jones and the lead singer of the stiff dylans were very hot

also... loved alan davies. there is something very adorable about him

I saw this today, I quite enjoyed it. :)

But it was just so untrue to teenage life! I'm the same age as Georgia, and just the way they spoke, the things they said, everything, I found it a bit weird. :o

I'm a teenage boy and I got out-voted by my frienRAB to go see this yesterday, it was awful.
I found the main character to be very unlikeable, the story line to be boring and predictable and it wasn't funny. I can't see the appeal of this film at all!!
