I M 7105t with TMO I m in NY and NJ so far no problems except once when a tower was down about 5 to 10 miles away, it did not mess up my signal only my ability to get my emails...I could still make and receive calls.
 
I'm having a different problem than you all. They keep sending me OUTRAGEOUS bills claiming they lost my payments. Anybody know any other US carrier I can port my number, and my 7100t and my 7105t to if this happens again and how I can get both BBs unlocked?
 
Well, I know you can't take your phones to Sprint they don't support sims cards on a totally different network. I used to be a Sprint tech and you don't want their service trust me please! I believe Cingular is an option. I've used their phones took my sim card out and put it in one of their phones and it worked with no problem.
 
How could they lose your payments? And if they lose your payments that is on them, not you!! They better find it quick!! What method of payment did you use? Personally I do everything online...if you use Postal put your account number on it and also make a copy of the check, same goes for money order...call them and give them the check number or the money order #...that might help..make copies of all transaction...LOL I have a mini office set up at home complete with fax, copier, printer plus computer...so they know they better not come at me outa no side pocket, they better come direct with something like the truth...we stole your money....(s)ugar-(h)oney-(i)ce-(t)ea....
 
I have been paying cash recently. In the past I have used credit cards, checks, money orders.

I don't mail in my payments to them because I have local tmobile stores in my area (which shouldn't be a problem but it seems to be).

I keep EVERY bill and receipt after each payment is made (You all should see the stack of bills I have from them over the last few months).

They claim that they do not receive payments but don't do anything to correct the situation or call me and let me know anything (What's funny is that they received my last payment of $65, but they can't find any previous payments? They claim they only received ONE payment out of 4 this year).

Get this, when I called them, the rep that answered the phone had me verify who I was because they were gonna send me a 3K bill from TEXT MESSAGES ALONE (I have unlimited messaging added onto the 300 msgs I get with my Unlimited BlackBerry Data plan). I can only think of one person (my EX) who could do something like this to get back at me but I cut his phone off after we broke up so it can't be him.

I'd port my number now, but will if it happens again. I don't know if it can be done over the phone cause I can't get to a store right now. I've used Cingular before but left them when T-Mobile came out with all of their phones. I may go back to them if they will give me a good deal on unlimited messaging and unlimited BB Data.

They (T-Mobile) also screwed up back in February when I took the minutes off the Sidekick Data plan I had (I had the $29/month deal along with 1000 minutes per month which I never used). This was because the rep I talked to (even though he repeated it to me and told me it would go into effect immediately) didn't follow thru.

I also got charged for re-stocking fees several times last year for phones they said I didn't return but I know I did because my dad works for the post office and I know the guy who has our UPS route.

I had a replacement BB7100t come to me last week FOUR MONTHS after I was supposed to get it because they sent it to the wrong address and never notified me to verify my address or say they screwed up. I had to call them and ask for a second replacement because I never got the first one (this was probably part of the amount they want me to pay which I got a letter in the mail about yesterday).

I have heard about Sprint and Nextel and don't want their service because of the lack of messaging. I can't live without being able to send and receive messages. I left Cingular because they didn't have any PDA-type phones 3 years ago but if I can get a good deal on unlimited messaging, I will go back to them (and get a game I want for BB 8700 series anyway LMAO).
 
That is some sugar honey ice tea they put you through...the nerve; I aint never heard no crap like that...but thank you for letting me know...when I have to deal with them I know what I have to do...WOW well good luck...hope you dont have to change...but if you are getting crappy service I hear ya!!
 
Tae, could you separate those plans please? LOL I couldn't figure out how much each one was because they're all run together.

Butterfli, I'm giving them one more try before I fork out the $250 termination fee (just long enough to get to where I can get out of bed-had surgery back in January and am still stuck in bed) to correct the problems. LOL The sad part about the whole situation is that my 7105t works fine.
 
Well erica in all honesty seems like someone is messing with you... No matter what company it is.. they are not gonna loose your payments all the time or charge you outrageous fees, when you have the correct service..BTW T-Mobiles blackberry plan does not have unlimited messageing. They have unlimited data and Email messaging. If you are using SMS or an Instant messanging client that all counts as sms messages.. if you use that alot maybe you should thingk about their messaging packages.

$9.99=1000 sms/mms
$14.99=Unlimited sms/mms ($9.99) if its a family time plan
