I have been paying cash recently. In the past I have used credit cards, checks, money orders.
I don't mail in my payments to them because I have local tmobile stores in my area (which shouldn't be a problem but it seems to be).
I keep EVERY bill and receipt after each payment is made (You all should see the stack of bills I have from them over the last few months).
They claim that they do not receive payments but don't do anything to correct the situation or call me and let me know anything (What's funny is that they received my last payment of $65, but they can't find any previous payments? They claim they only received ONE payment out of 4 this year).
Get this, when I called them, the rep that answered the phone had me verify who I was because they were gonna send me a 3K bill from TEXT MESSAGES ALONE (I have unlimited messaging added onto the 300 msgs I get with my Unlimited BlackBerry Data plan). I can only think of one person (my EX) who could do something like this to get back at me but I cut his phone off after we broke up so it can't be him.
I'd port my number now, but will if it happens again. I don't know if it can be done over the phone cause I can't get to a store right now. I've used Cingular before but left them when T-Mobile came out with all of their phones. I may go back to them if they will give me a good deal on unlimited messaging and unlimited BB Data.
They (T-Mobile) also screwed up back in February when I took the minutes off the Sidekick Data plan I had (I had the $29/month deal along with 1000 minutes per month which I never used). This was because the rep I talked to (even though he repeated it to me and told me it would go into effect immediately) didn't follow thru.
I also got charged for re-stocking fees several times last year for phones they said I didn't return but I know I did because my dad works for the post office and I know the guy who has our UPS route.
I had a replacement BB7100t come to me last week FOUR MONTHS after I was supposed to get it because they sent it to the wrong address and never notified me to verify my address or say they screwed up. I had to call them and ask for a second replacement because I never got the first one (this was probably part of the amount they want me to pay which I got a letter in the mail about yesterday).
I have heard about Sprint and Nextel and don't want their service because of the lack of messaging. I can't live without being able to send and receive messages. I left Cingular because they didn't have any PDA-type phones 3 years ago but if I can get a good deal on unlimited messaging, I will go back to them (and get a game I want for BB 8700 series anyway LMAO).
