Android [Phones], Mine, fave apps, etc.

I am scared that something wont work. I dont have time to troubleshoot stuff. Hopefully sprint installs a tower in laguna soon that services my house so I can tell ATT to frack off with all these restrictions.

Im rooted On the evo with stock android 2.2. Not really a fan of the sense stuff. Everybody that has an htc phone neeRAB to go to the xda-developers forum and read up if they are interested in rooting

FWIW - I'm @ 41 hours since unplugged with my Evo with 10% left. Granted I haven't been using it non-stop, but I've surfed, texted, called, etc. Battery "problems" with this phone are exaggerated.

I'm at like 88% and I just unplugged it from a/c like an hour ago :/. I think I need to condition it. I've heard people say that doesn't work with newer batteries, but it always seems to work with my BB. Just kill it completely dead one weekend and then do a full charge all day and it's back to normal. Since rooting and killing off the extra software this thing is movin' now. Much better. Apparently the update for 2.1 that killed the ability to root (I had to downgrade earlier) made some functions a little slower, so I think I'm just going to stick with this version. Maybe if some one can make a stable 2.2 ROM I'll move to that, but right now they don't have working google nav, microphones, ect...which is pointless.

about to get my first smartphone(ive been rocking a motorola SLVR, thing is a tank)..Gonna pick up a Motorola Droid(free/50$) as the new ones come out.. Im pretty stoked. Does anyone know when 2.2 is gonna be on it?
Gonna be keeping up on this thread for APPs......

WadRAB or anyone else with experience. I downloaded Google Sync for my BB, but the only problem is, only new items on my calendar will sync. All of my existing appoontments will not. I did some reading on it, and apparently that is how it is designed.

So I thought I would outsmart it and backed up by BB and then restored it again, thinking the phone would then see the appointments on the calendar as new and sync them. But nope, that didn't work either.

Any help with this, or any other options besides backing them all up manually? Currently I have just under 650 appointments on my calendar and granted I probably don't need to keep all of them, but a majority I would and I really don't want to have to go through each one manually...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I just got a droid a couple days ago and I think I'm gonna get the gameboy emulator. Just wondering what games come with it? Almost all the paid apps look good too. Wish I could have them all

Shitty, I was hoping someone had some experience with this...

I checked out the Epic, but I have never been a fan of slider phones. At this point, I'm still leaning towarRAB the EVO.

Integration issues aside, its a sweet phone. Often missed in reviews is the speech to text feature. It makes texting and driving easy as shit. Not that I condone such a thing. But it honestly knows the difference between your and you're. Sick.

Also, this device is built pretty well. I cracked the glass by dropping it from 3 feet - and it still works. I'm posting this message from the phone. The replacement parts are in the mail. I already took this thing apart to figure out which screen it has. I'll post pics of the process.
