...were invaded? ncient aboriginal/aztecs similarities/differences between their culture before they were invaded?
 
I would say that they were very different. The Aztecs had built a complex civilization, with cities, complex social hierarchies, major architecture etc.

The Aborigonies, in contrast, were hunter-gatherers, living a very simple existence with few artefacts and no architecture. They did produce some very striking artwork, but basically lived a simple tribal existence, in complete contrast to the society of the Aztecs.

some similarities between the Aztecs and the Aborigines are that they both belived in the Sun Gods
