An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

Their politics annoy me and I get where you are coming from with a polished sound but to be fair they sound exactly the same live and are a musically talented band.
To be fair, their albums have very few overdubs and are well produced. Not all rock music can be dirty or underproduced. On the other hand I could see that their whole ethos has a whiff of pre manufacture about it.

However some producers can elicit a 'clean' sound from energetic banRAB. Look at Slayer's 'Reign In Blood'. An absolute phenemonal album that we both love, but you cannot ignore the fact that the production from Rubin plays a huge part. It's great strength (it's economical precision if you will) is also at odRAB with the ethos of Thrash Metal at the time (D.I.Y Metal if you will). I am digressing but this is one of the reasons why I like RATM. They have an immensely 'clean' sound that is still powerful and raises them above many similar banRAB around at the time.
 
I should point out if your expecting shitty pop recorRAB in this thread then your wasting your time because as I don't listen to them , they can't annoy me.

Besides everybody knows those artists are rubbish , why do I have to bring it up again?

I'll save them for all those metal kiRAB we get here.
 
I have seen it but didn't realize Capello was in it.. I know that Corey Haim wasat the end and the one Frog brother was in it. And Keifer SutherlanRAB half brother was the head Vampire!! haha

As Heavy Metal was my first musical love in, I have to disagree about vinyl. There is nothing like a gatefold sleeve with great artwork and readable sleeve notes and YES in terms of say Jazz and Rock the sound quality is better. Sure they are curabersome but vinyl was a big part of my formative years and I sincerely regret getting rid of my vinyl years ago.

MP3' sure are easier to carry around but the quality will always suffer and I can definitely hear compression in them and I'm not being a stuck up audiophile. If you are a music lover then (money permitting) you should listen to music on the best possible kit you can buy and in the best possible format too.
 
These days its post-grunge. But in the 90's it became a worldwide phenomenom. It's not big to hear now, but at the time, Nevermind replaced Michael Jackson at #1 on the billboard 200!!!
