I dunno, I've only been to one Fall show and although they only played recent stuff, it was still a great gig. Maybe when/if I see them again, I'll feel the same way as you.

Well I understand stuff like this is for you to kill boredom for the most part, so it would be no fun without pissing people off. You already got me covered with the Roger Dean one. :)
 
I'm amazed they play punk at all. Here they don't play any punk, metal, hardcore rap...pretty much it's ALL Hinder my Theory of a Nickleback, mellow rock and r&b, and country (of course, this is Texas). But, the only time they play good country is on Sunday. The rest of this time it's the new crappy country music.
 
Jackhammer mentioned one way it's helpful. Another one is simply that it's easier to scan a small alphabetized group of recorRAB than a huge alphabetized group of recorRAB so breaking it up into genres can help if you have an absolutely enormous record collection.
 
Ahh but those are pub banRAB. I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about banRAB with major label record deals and nationwide tours yet still look and act as if they work on a building site.
 
Tell me about it, I live there. Dear god so many kiRAB looking to pick a fight because "[good band] is ***gy and korn/disturbed (big offender here)/slipknot is the way to go". Damn man I like my music and you like yours. Go away and wash your hair.:banghead:

I have to agree with you on this one Urban. There are so many banRAB I like that after a couple good releases just started making crap music, and it always pisses me off when that happens to one of the banRAB/artists I really liked

examples(banRAB who I can't listen to anything after their first two albums):
Weezer
The Ataris
Green Day
Linkin Park
Thousand Foot Krutch
SR-71
Suicide Machines
 
The Chronicles of Life and Death counts as a concept album right?

If not then American Idiot. Either way my point is clear.

These are the people who should do concept albums.

Showing off your paradidles for 10 minutes quite frankly doesn't impress me.

Playing them with your head or your testicles would however impress me.

Bear that in mind the next time you ruin a concert by boring the pants of everybody in the time that you could add 2 or 3 songs to your set list that people would actually enjoy hearing instead.
