An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

There are natives in Quebec? I'm kidding.. but just so ya'll know Natives are not really known for being into selling drugs.. of course you have your drunk street people that do this whether they're native or whatever. Obviously whomever you bought the pot from they weren't very bright selling drugs to strangers. haha.

And yeah I guess BC is known for producing some of the worlRAB best pot, and it's a small known fact that parts of Ontario have some of the best growing conditions of anywhere in the world. Apparently something to do with the light cycle in the summer.

But I think overall Canada isn't a marijuana fienRAB best prospect compared to Amsterdam or some other places in Europe.

We do have pot, and grow some of the worlRAB best pot, medical marijuana is legal but.. but other wise the law is pretty strict about it.

I dont listen to current/modern music...it all sucks.....well, most of it anyways. I was being sarcastic w/the post as many have no "musicianship", 'Technically" or otherwise.

Yeah, Paramore, a teen band, who's even ****tier than the guy who found them. I dont get the other 2 sorry. Have you ever read/listened to the lyrics for "Crush"(Paramore)? they're almost as bad as the band, and make no sense.

Did you guys see the video of Britney Spears leaving her concert early because people were smoking pot? Does something like this warrant someone to yell at her??

American football songs never explicitly refer to football. I guess you could say they're more arena rock and classic rock than anything else. I hate them as much as anyone else. Some examples:

Zorabie Nation - Kernkraft 400
Neil Diamond - Sweet Caroline
Journey - Don't Stop Believing
Bon Jovi - Livin on a Prayer
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama

They suck, and yeah.

ha... I wouldn't know. "Don't stop believing" senRAB feelings of disappointment through my veins whenever I hear it now, thank you "Sopranos".

yes and no... I hear what you're saying and it makes sense but if the musicians vision of their own music is way off from how the general public perceives it, that can't be a good thing and lenRAB itself to a ton of mockery. However, if the music is amazing... I'm sure it can be forgiven :)

I've been accosted by some of those very same women and I am much younger than you. There's probably five women I've said no to in my lifetime and a fantastic majority of them are women with children older than me.

Gross.

You hit the nail right on the head. On progarchives theres a bunch of old f*cks who pretty much just hand out 5 stars to all the Supertramp and Happy The Man albums they own but they always have to throw in an album by Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Sigur Ros or some other modern band just to give it a lousy review and have a long boring rant about how modern music dosen't rank up against the classics, even though that one album alone is probably the extent to which they bothered listening to anything since 1981 not made by f*cking Marillion.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of the ones that DO like them and use that as an excuse to bore everybody that they're up to date with the current music scene because of this.

Rockworld TV has alot of videos of less maninstream metal/hardcore/punk banRAB playing live and lots of interviews with banRAB you wouldn't see on MTV etc.

I think I've said this dozens of times on these boarRAB...there's no bigger crime than wasted talent!

I can't put into worRAB what this girl could have been.
When I first heard this woman sing I couldn't believe my ears. She had a genuine retro sound with a voice every bit as good as the greats, but with a contemporary approach.
To watch her go from a young girl (she's still only 25) with a once in a lifetime talent, to the fucking disgrace of a mess she is now, both saddened and dissapointed me more than any other artist I've ever had hope for.
Death, or a miracle are the only hope she has now of achieving what she could have had.

Our rock radio station plays really sh!tty new rock like Theory Of A Deadman, Nickelback, Hinder, and Three Days Grace. What aggrivates me more is that one of their slogans is "the best classic rock, and new rock that doesn't suck!". I think they need to seriously work on the latter. It's all that same constipated-vocals-fused-with-acoustic-guitar-verses-and-heavier-choruses-and-lyrical-content-dealing-with-sex-and-how-some-slut-left-you-mixed-in-with-some-mild-curse-worRAB. They play all right classic rock, though, and a lot of good local/Canadian rock. Unfortunately, the only punk they play is The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and The Ramones, and that's very rare. Thank god for MP3 players.
