An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

no problem dude!

moving on: i think it would be really cool if we could see what all of the readers felt should have been #1 off of Urban's list via poll or something

Singing with power is one thing, Aretha and Tina did it right, but nowadays you have singers who are undeniably talented singers but they overdo it.

Whitney Houston is like the Yngwie Malmsteen of vocalists.

"Well Sgt Pepper is the greatest album ever and Ringo was a really underrated drummer they were so progressive for a pop band and they revolutionized music , and Ringo was a really underrated drummer and George Harrison was such an underrated guitarist and they influenced so much and the white album is fantastic and Lennon and McCartney were the best songwriting duo ever and Ringo was such an underrated drummer and Revolver was a fantastic album and anyone who was ever any good copied something from them and nobody else from that time was anywhere near as good as them and Ringo was such an underrated drummer and they're the best band in rock and roll history and Yellow Submarine was a great song .... LOL!!!!!! and Ringo was such an underrated drummer blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah".

Look we already know this , we know this because The Beatles just happen to be THE MOST WELL KNOWN POP BAND OF ALL TIME. I don't need to be reminded of it every fucking 5 minutes.

Alot of those people that I know that think like that are really arrogant, and applying statistics to music, making it about speed, makes it so they can feel like all of their opinions are always right. Like, if 'speed', or another statistic like factor was how I judged music, I could confidantly say that Yngwie is better than Led Zeppelin, because what Im using to compare the two isn't even a matter of opinion anymore. I hate these people.

Are you sure it was me?

Most of my Smiths posts about me saying how I prefer The Cure & Echo & the Bunnymen to them.

If fact my only correspondence with you in that thread was this...

lol yeah it happens :p:

ReminRAB me of McCain and Obama recently (August sometime) releasing their list of favourite songs, and its obvious enough that they were picking the safies and targeting different audiences...

And here's one of my personal favorite Primus songs, and an example of why I think Larry LaLonde is a sorely underrated guitarist:

The only good thing about Queen reuniting was I never got to see Brian and Roger play live together... other then that, I agree, it's not necessary.

Also, being a fan of a black woman's backside... I must say I thoroughly enjoyed that dance ;)
